Year 4 Update
Fri 04 Dec 2020We have been really impressed this week with the attitude and effort shown by everyone during their tests this week. It has been brilliant to see the progress children are making. In Science, we have been investigating which drinks are good for our teeth and which ones could cause decay. We used litmus paper, to test the acidity of a range of drinks as acid causes damage to our teeth. The children were amazed that the bacteria in plaque reacts with sugar to create acid. We have set up an experiment using eggs, to see which liquids damage our enamel. We can't wait to find out the results next week!

5M Update
Fri 04 Dec 2020This week, 5M have been working hard to show how much they have learned during the term in their assessments- they should all be very proud. As well as this, we found out about foods eaten in the Indus Valley and the children crafted their own beads out of clay. They are ready to paint next week. In Science, we are now having fun testing out Newton metres and carrying out investigations.

5W Update
Fri 04 Dec 2020The class have done themselves proud this week and put a tremendous effort into completing their assessments. They are now starting to learn some Christmassy songs ....Frosty the Snowman, Winter Wonderland, Feliz Navidad, Jingle Bell Rock and That’s Christmas to me. Their Indus Valley jewellery is coming on very well and is now ready to paint. Here are a few examples:
