4 Marshall

Welcome to 4M.

We are enjoying many fascinating topics and exciting experiences this year in Year 4.

In 4M, the teacher is Mrs Marshall and is supported by our fantastic teaching assistants Mrs Thomas and Mrs Jelley. We also have Spanish with our specialist teacher Senora Creese and Miss Weatherall will teach on a Thursday afternoon.

 Intervention groups are led by our teaching assistants, Mrs Jelley and Mrs Thomas.

PE

In the Spring term right through until May half term, our PE is swimming at Bramcote Leisure Centre on a Monday afternoon. We leave school at 1.30 and aim to return by the end of the school day..

Kit requirements are that boys wear fitted trunks- not baggy/ with pockets. Girls should wear a one piece swimming costume. Goggles can be worn if a form has been signed and earrings should be out (unless form signed). These are the requirements set by the Leisure Centre.

School uniform should be worn Monday- Friday (unless it's your birthday! ) :-)

Each half term, there is a class read, which will link to the topic being studied. The aim is to give the children an opportunity of having a book being read to them and building on the knowledge they are learning in humanities (topic- history and geography) lessons. Parts of the book will be studied more in depth in reading sessions.
