Spring
For the first half term, topic is linked to art by studying the work of Nicholas Roerich, a painter from Russia, who lived in many places around the world. We will use his work as inspiration and will use water colours to produce our own work.

In the second half term, we will study Mayan masks- their design and colours- finding out what they were used for in this culture that existed for several thousand years.
We will use cardboard to build up our own mask and paint it, using traditional masks as inspiration
