Year 4 Update

We have been really impressed this week with the attitude and effort shown by everyone during their tests this week. It has been brilliant to see the progress children are making. In Science, we have been investigating which drinks are good for our teeth and which ones could cause decay. We used litmus paper, to test the acidity of a range of drinks as acid causes damage to our teeth. The children were amazed that the bacteria in plaque reacts with sugar to create acid. We have set up an experiment using eggs, to see which liquids damage our enamel. We can't wait to find out the results next week!
