Year 3 Latest News
Thu 29 Apr 2021Year 3 have really settled down to work after test week. We have just started a new History topic on Ancient Rome and a new Science Biology topic about Plants. We have been practising our sports day skills in PE and it has been so much fun now the track is painted. We are really looking forward to our Roman Day on Tuesday after Bank Holiday Monday.

14th May - Pyjamarama Day
Wed 28 Apr 2021Come to school in pyjamas, to celebrate Pyjamarama Day. Please make sure that your wear sensible footwear though. The day will be full of book related activities to promote a love of reading. A book sale will be held at morning break with all books costing £2. There is something for everyone! We can't wait to spend the day in our pyjamas!

Year 4 Latest News
Fri 23 Apr 2021Year 4 have settled back in school after Easter. We've starting time in Maths and in English it's been great to get out in the sunshine to do some drama. Next week, we will be writing a dialogue on what we've been acting out. We also started practicing hockey in PE and we have been getting to know some of the core skills needed.

Fri 23 Apr 2021Year 3 have had a fantastic week back at school after 4 weeks of being at home! We have thoroughly enjoyed seeing them all and getting back into our usual routines. They have been working really hard during test week and we are so proud of how resilient they are! Well Done Year 3!

Fri 23 Apr 2021A fantastic start to the new term. It has been so lovely to see all the children after Easter. It has been a busy week this week and everyone in school has been working hard completing assessments.
On Monday, all the children were gifted a leavers hoody. They all look fantastic and super smart. Check out the pictures of year 6 in their hoodies.

Fri 23 Apr 2021This week it has been fantastic to have the children back in school after the holidays. We've certainly enjoyed the sunshine! They have worked especially hard on assessments but have also enjoyed finishing the art topic by using ink on their waxed designs. They look fantastic.

Y3 Latest News
Fri 26 Mar 2021Year 3 are adjusting well to learning online again for the final part of the Spring term. We had a fantastic Easter Disco Day on Thursday despite not being at school. We had a session enjoying our story 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' in our pjs for the first session! Just before lunch, we had a scavenger hunt finding all sorts of weird and wonderful things in our houses! The children enjoyed racing around and showing each other what they had found! In the afternoon, we played some fun Easter games and we even managed to have a disco at home!! As always, we are so proud as to how resilient our Year 3s are being!

Fri 26 Mar 2021This week, 5M have had another busy week starting a new unit of argument and persuasion, where we got to try to convince Mrs Marshall of our point of view regarding some rather silly arguments such as whether the goat had the right to tip trap over the troll's bridge and whether the gingerbread man had the right to be free! In topic, we investigated the devasting effects of deforestation and have started a poster about this topic. The most exciting day of the week was most definitely EASTER DISCO DAY as we got to dance and enjoy some real FUN in school in what seems like AGES! There's some great dancers in Year 5!
