Fri 06 Feb 2026 Miss Hubert & Mrs Bishop

This week, we have been writing our playscripts in English for Robin Hood.  In maths, we have been multiplying fractions and finding fractions of amounts.  In Science, we started looking at different lifecycles, focusing on the lifecycle of an insect.  Next week, we will be finishing our playscripts and our Norman purses in DT.

  • Year 3 News

Fri 06 Feb 2026 Mr Harding & Miss Brown

Rain, rain, rain. Hopefully better weather next week so we can be outside for breaks and P.E. Year three have finished their own narratives this week based on the structure of our class novel The Black Rock. We have moved on the measuring and perimeter in maths, so the children were getting to grips with using a ruler and the difference between mm, cm and m. Tag rugby and netball continued however netball was inside but still very fun and competitive. We have researched the scientist Michael Faraday, the man who discovered electromagnetism in our science lessons and started to complete our Roman shields.
