Year 4 News
Fri 12 Jan 2024Happy New Year. This week has been a busy one, beginning with the visit of Nigel Vardy, where we heard about the adventures that he has had but also what can happen when things don't go to plan. Rather than being defeated by frost bite injuries, he has shown resilience and conquered many more challenges.
Our new unit is Mountains and Earthquakes- we will be reading King of the Cloud Forests by Michael Morpurgo. In Art, we have researched the artist Nicholas Roerich, who painted many paintings of mountains. Music with Miss Woolley has also begun again for this half term
As always, we ask that you read with your children- a Starbooks treat if the children read three times. Spellings come out weekly and the homework grids will be distributed.
