It has been a great return to school for the children after a lengthy break. We have continued with our work on the Ancient Greek Olympic games and next week, we will have the final piece to showcase in our English books. We have also enjoyed our 'wear what you like' day, where the children have bought in some fantastic donations for our Christmas Market.

Fri 10 Nov 2023 Miss Hubert

Year 5 have settled back into Autumn 2 well.  This week, we have started our new units in history and science.  We will be learning about the Indus Valley and forces.  In maths, we have continued our work on multiplication and have been learning about factors, common factors, prime numbers and squared numbers.  In English, we have been focusing on newspaper reports, identifying the different features.

Today, we have had a non-uniform day in return for donations to our Christmas Fair and it was so lovely to see so many children contribute - it is going to be amazing!  Don't forget to buy your raffle tickets!
