Year 5 News

This week we have continued learning about Scotland.  We looked at the physical and human features of Scotland and identified key landmarks. In English, we examined evidence about the Loch Ness Monster and wrote a balanced argument, presenting the reasons for and against its existence.  In science, we conducted an experiment to test which solids dissolve in water and whether they dissolve better in cold or warm water.  

The spellings for next week are below.  Please encourage your child to learn them ready for the test on Friday.
