Topic

Scandinavia 

This half term, year 6 will be travelling over to Scandinavia. Children will be learning about where Scandinavia is, including the countries that are part of it. We will also be looking at some of the Human and Physical Features of Scandinavia. We are looking forward to getting started on this topic.

Rivers

This half term, year 6 will be taking a deeper dive into learning about Rivers. Children will be learning about different parts of the river, rivers of the world as well as understanding the water cycle. We are looking forward to getting started on this topic and being given the opportunity to explore local destinations such as the River Erewash.

Alongside our topic, we will be reading Floodland by Marcus Sedgwick.
