Fair Trade

Our topic this term is Fair Trade. Mrs Cave's favourite topic, coffee and chocolate. Ask your child if they can explain what the Fairtrade logo means and if they know any countries where Fairtrade products are grown.

We are reading "The Silk Road" which is all about Marco Polo. We have been looking at his life story, trading routes and studying maps of his journey.

We are also studying Roald Dahl and reading "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". If you have the book, bring it in to read along with Mrs Cave.
