Year 6 News

We have been so impressed with the attitude and resilience shown by the children in our Maths lessons this week. We have been learning how to use long division, to divide by 2 digit numbers. Throughout the week, after lots of practice, everyone's confidence has grown hugely! Brilliant work Year 6!

 

This week, we started our new History topic, which is all about the Victorians. We created timelines, to show key events from this era. In Computing, we explored the features and tools that can be used whilst working with spreadsheets and Excel. In our English lessons, we have completed our non-chronological reports about the Ancient Greek Olympics, which have been presented beautifully. Our new unit of work is about 'The Highwayman.'
