Year 6 News

This week, in English, we have been learning how we can use linking adverbials and relative clauses in our Anne Frank biographies. In PE, we have continued to develop the attacking and defending skills and tactics that can be used in a game of basketball. To end the week, we have spent the day learning about an aspect of local history - Sir Richard Arkwright. We found out lots of information about him and why he became famous whilst investigating the question 'Was he a hero or a villain?' The children have been using evidence and information about life as a factory worker, to justify their answers to this question.
