Year 6 News

Welcome back!

This week has flown by and we have been very busy indeed. In English we have published our Ancient Greek Myths and begun reading the poem 'The Highwayman'. 

In Maths we have focused on addition and subtraction, applying this to word problems and decimals. 

We have begun our learning about the Victorians in Topic and in Science we conducted experiments to investigate how light travels. 

We also had an informative assembly from the Healthy Families Team, supporting us with keeping ourselves safe and healthy as we approach transition to Secondary school.

A reminder that there is no PE this half term.
