Year 6 News

This week, we have been working in our new Maths and English groups. We have been developing our understanding of number and place value with numbers up to 10 million and in English, we have been using fronted adverbials, subordinate clauses and prepositions, to add more detail to our writing before we begin writing our own myths next week. In History, we learnt about Ancient Greek hoplites (soldiers) and the weapons and armour they would have had. We're not sure that we could carry a huge 1 metre wide shield and an 8 foot spear!

Below are the new spelling lists for next week. Keep learning them.
