Year 6 News

This week, we completed our fractions unit in Maths. We recapped how to find fractions of amounts and we also learnt how to find the whole. We are now moving on to measurements. In English, we have been developing our persuasive skills, using exaggeration, rhetorical questions and other persuasive techniques. During our Science lesson, we explored how animals can be grouped, depending on their characteristics and whether they are vertebrates or invertebrates. We learnt new vocabulary, including annelids, molluscs and crustaceans. There were some creative groups balances on show in gymnastics too this week.
