Year 5 News

We had our first visit to the Library this week.  It was really lovely watching the children interact with the books and choose some to bring home.  We will be going again later on in the term.  As well as the library on Thursday, we celebrated VE day in school.  In the morning, we explored images from VE day and heard stories from people who were there.  We also drew our own VE Day street party scenes using vanishing points.  In Science, we conducted an experiment to discover what the saturation point is with sugar and salt.  WE are now waiting to see if we can recover the salt and sugar from the solutions.  

Next week will be a little different in school due to the Year 6 SATS.  This time next year it will be our turn!
