Year 5 News

Our last week has been fantastic. Cadburys World was a massive hit (not surprisingly) with year 5 actually learning a lot about how the rainforest is linked to the making of chocolate and why it needs to be preserved. We have been learning R.E for most of the week, looking at the Easter story after completing our 'Escaped Tiger' newspaper reports in English. Our Georgia O'Keeffe inspired prints and ink patterns of flowers have turned out wonderfully, with children commenting on how proud they were of their work. Enjoy the Spring break everyone and the predicted sunshine and we'll see you all again on the 22nd April.
