Year 5 News

It has been very quiet in Upper School this week with Year 6 and Mr Harding at Hagg Farm but Year 5 have remained focused, working hard in lessons, getting on without any fuss.  On Monday, we finished our non-chronological reports about the rainforest and the results were amazing.  All the children worked incredibly hard and produced a beautiful and well written report.  In maths, we have moved on to statistics and have been reading and interpreting line graphs.  We have also used line graphs to present information and answer questions.

Things are getting quite exciting in our Let's Go Zero lessons as the children are now starting to plan their projects for reducing our school carbon emissions.  They are working in groups to develop an action plan for their project and will soon be putting them into action around school.

Next week is test week but we will still have our usual spelling test on Friday.  Please see the spellings for next week below.
