Year 5 News

Wow! What a great first week back. We have started our new Geography topic about the Rainforest which links to new class novel ‘Journey to the River Sea’. This week we have started learning about our family in Spanish with the amazing Senora Cresse and continued our science unit about life cycles. The children hit the ground running with their Independent write this week creating creative stories about a tiger approaching them in the jungle. ‘Go Zero’ lessons have continued focusing on sustainability and in P.E (which is on both Mondays and Thursdays) we started learning how to play hockey.
