Year 5 News

This week has flown by!  In Year 5, we have continued learning all about the Tudors and learnt about the monarchs after Henry VIII.  In English, we have been using our reading book 'Treason' to get a better understanding of life as a Tudor and what it would have been like for a child.  In art, we have started looking at famous Tudor portraits and why they were important.  On Thursday, we had our first trip to Stapleford library where some children were issued with a library card and managed to take a book home.  

For swimming on Monday, all children will need  to bring loose clothing as well as their normal swimming costume as part of water safety.
