Year 5 News

Where has the week gone! This week, we have focused on our RE unit for the term, looking at different religions and their beliefs. We have also been working on our DT unit, experimenting with different CAM mechanisms to make a moving toy.  In English, we have continued looking at the Shakespeare play, Macbeth, writing a newspaper report about King Duncan's murder. In maths, we have been learning about position and direction, focusing on coordinates and translating shapes which has been a little tricky for some. 

 

After half term, we will be learning about the Tudors in history and will be having a visit to Haddon Hall. The letter will come out when we are back. We hope you all have a lovely half term break.
