Year 5 News

It has been a lovely start to the new term.  This week, we have started our new topic about the Tudors.  Everyone seems really excited about it and are looking forward to the trip to Wollaton Hall later in the term.  We have started a new DT unit - moving toys - where we have been learning about cam mechanisms.  In English, we have been learning about William Shakespeare and the children are working on writing a biograpahy about him.  We will be swimming again on Monday but also doing PE on Thursday in preparation for sports day.  We hope you all have a lovely weekend.
