Year 5 News

We have had a great start to the new term.  In English, we have been researching information about the Loch Ness Monster, ready for our debate about whether or not it is real.  It is fantastic hearing the children get really passionate with their views and wanting to find out more about it.  In maths, we have finished our unit on position and direction and will be moving on to decimals next week.  In topic, we have moved on to the Tudors and have started our new reading text 'Treason'.  

Next week, we will only have PE on Monday as we are at the Halle on Friday.  Please ensure your child is in school uniform next Friday for the trip.  Please see the spellings for next week below.
