Year 5 News

What a week! We had visitors in school this week and the children were brilliant. 

In maths, we have moved on to our shape unit and have been learning all about angles.  Today, we had the tricky task of using a protractor.  In English, we have nearly finished our letters to Lady Macbeth, written from Macbeth's point of view, telling her all about meeting the witches on the heath.  In science, we conducted an experiment to see which materials are soluble in water.  In topic, we looked at physical and human features in Scotland.
