YEAR 5 CLASS NEWS

Welcome back! 

We hope you all had a lovely Easter.  The children have settled in to the new school term well.  In English, we are studying Macbeth and everyone is really enjoying reading it.  They are also enjoying learning about Scotland and have been researching the Loch Ness Monster which has led to some lively discussions about whether or not it is real.  In Science, we have started a new topic - properties and changes of materials.  This week, we looked at different materials and explored why certain materials are used for different objects.  Today, we had our Easter service at St Helens Church.  Thank you to all the helpers that came with us.  Without your support it would not be possible.
