Year 4 News

This week we have been very busy with tests as part of our assessment week. We have had a rainbow grammar lesson on subordinate clauses as part of our work in English. In Spanish, we have been introduced to adjectives and how they follow the noun in terms of whether it is masculine/feminine, singular and plural.  In Topic, we have had a lesson on Mayan gods, learning all about them and ways in which the Mayans would try to appease them. In Science we have been learning about the different classifications of vertebrates (mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish) and we have been looking at the features of each. Next week, we will resume with our Maths lessons on fractions and our English narrative write up. On Monday there is swimming and on Tuesday there is no PE. Our spellings for next week are:
