Year 4 News

This week in Year 4, we have finished writing a short narrative based upon Jack and the Beanstalk after our pantomime trip last week. We have had lots of RE lessons this week looking at the Christmas story, Mary and Joseph's journey to Bethlehem and why they had to leave after the birth of baby Jesus.  For our Independent Write, we wrote diary entries from the perspective of Santa and have focused on using the present perfect tense. On Thursday, we performed our Christmas concert at St Helen's church which was lovely to watch and we finished the week that afternoon with our Christmas party and Christmas quizzes.
