Year 4 News

Year 4 have settled back in well after half term. In English, we have started our new topic on Diary entries, we have used at the typical features used in a diary entry and have had lessons looking at some of those key features for writing our own next week. In Maths, we have started a new unit on addition and subtraction and have moved onto 4 digit-numbers that require exchanges. Our new topic this term is South Africa and has a Geography focus, our lesson this week looked at different climate zones. Our reading unit this half term is from the book 'Journey to Jo'Burg' by Bevery Naidoo. Within our PE lessons we have had our first lesson in Gymnastics and Basketball.  Our Spanish lessons have also resumed for this half term. On Friday, we had a lovely visit to the church as part of Harvest Festival.
