Year 4 News

This week in English, we have looked at using direct speech in our newspaper reports and have started writing our own version. In Maths, we have done more work on decimals, including making a whole with tenths and hundredths. In Science, we have started our new unit on electricity and have learnt how electricity is generated. In Topic, we looked at atlases and local maps of place names and too see if these were once Viking or Anglo Saxon settlements. In computing, we have used onion skinning to make our animations transitions more seamless. Your spellings for next week can be found below:
