Year 4 Latest News

In the last science lesson we completed a cartoon strip of digestion and it was great to know the parts of our body on our school trip as 4 Year 4 children were mummified and parts of 'their body' (material versions on velcro) were placed 'in' canopic jars. We also got to see two 'real' mummies (as well as an Egyptian mummified cat) and create our own clay shabtis (that go into the afterlife and become our slaves). The rest of the museum was also fascinating and the children all seem to have a different favourite part but it was lovely to see the children so enthusiastic and showing off 'sticky' knowledge from their previous learning in different topics over the last year.
