Year 3 News

This week year 3 have had an amazing week! We have been super busy starting our new maths unit (fractions). We have also been continuing our work on Roman Britain, exploring how the Romans were so successful in their invasion of Britain. It has been a very different week in many respects as the children have also enjoyed world book day, where oracy was our focus. We had lots of debates on questions such as (Should Primary School children be allowed mobile phones?). We also completed an activity where the children told us their favourite spot for reading! To cap the week off, the children have been split into their houses and they have been moving around school, completing a number of activities for our annual Science Day as part of British Science Week. A super busy week deserves a well- rested weekend! Stay safe and we will see you all on Monday.
