Year 3 News

Year 3 want to extend their congratulations to Year 6’s who completed their SATs this week, due to this our timetable has looked a little different, the year 3’s have coped very well. It has been a really busy week. They have written a diary entry in independent write about a journey cycling through Asia, they have also been working hard on finishing their brochures advertising Asia, I certainly want to visit now. In Maths, we have been continuing to learn about time. In Art, we have completed our dragon watercolour paintings and these should hopefully come home next week. In Science, we have started our new topic of light and they were very fascinated about how it can travel across the room and even school. In PE, the children are really starting to master their skills of coordination, control and accuracy in both Rounders and Tennis. We hope you have a lovely weekend, here are next weeks spellings.
