Year 3 News

Year 3 have settled back in nicely, we have thrown them back into a fully-packed timetable. In Maths, we have continued our work on Volume and Capacity. In English, We have been finishing off our poetry unit around Boudicca ready to start an exciting travel brochure unit next week. In PE, we have started learning about Rounders and tennis, and both sports are about focussing on watching the ball and control. In Science, we have started our new unit on Forces and Magnets, and there are many investigations to get our teeth into. In Topic, we have started learning about Asia, and it is really lovely that we have some experts in the classroom to share all about their home countries with us. We hope the children sleep well after a busy week, here are next weeks spellings.
