Year 3 News

Happy Half term, this week we have worked the Year 3s very heard. In Maths, they have been learning about perimeter and adding and subtracting lengths. In English, we have been exploring emotions of those involved in the Roman invasion on Britain and writing sentences using speech, adverbs and conjunctions. In RE, we have explored learning about what is prayer and how people pray and what they use. It has also been Children’s mental health week so we have been doing activities that help us to understand ourselves better, like a self-care jar, writing our thoughts and feelings down and exploring how to find our voice appropriately. The children also thoroughly enjoyed our 5 weeks of Swimming and I am sure they will be very sad it has finished but they should be proud of all they achieved.  We hope you have a restful week and here are the spellings for after half term.
