Year 3 Newd
Year 3 have had another jam-packed week of learning. In Maths, we have finished Multiplication and Division and started our new topic of Length and Perimeter. In English, we have finished our set of instruction on ‘How to Make a Roman Shield’ and the children are really excited that they will get to make these next week. In Topic, we learnt about all the inventions that the Romans created that we still use today and the children were fascinated at how clever the Romans were. In Science, we learnt about a scientist called George Washington Carver who invented over 100 uses of peanuts! In DT we have designed our shields and trialled different ways to make handles. We hope you have a lovely weekend, here are next weeks spellings.
