Year 3 Class News

In year three this week we have been continuing swimming each day, this is the last week though, it was a great opportunity for the children to swim everyday for two weeks. In English was have been looking at how rainbow grammar works and using our knowledge of adjectives and adverbs to create expanded noun phrase sentences. We continued with place value in Maths with children really getting to grips with hundreds, tens and ones. We have closed gaps in maths and English around swimming gin the afternoon, new week will feel like a more normal week as we start computing, topic and science units.
