Football Tournament 8th June 2023
Yesterday, the Year 5,6 football team travelled to Bramcote College to take part in our first football tournament in 5 years. After losing our first two games 2-0 and 1-0, the team rallied together to stay unbeaten for the rest of the afternoon, drawing 0-0 with John Clifford and Bramcote Hills but beating Bispham Drive 1-0 with a beautifully curled effort by Cohen Hudson. Unfortunately, we did not receive enough points to reach the semi-finals but we did finish 4th in our league of 6.
Overall, the team enjoyed a sunny afternoon and played some fantastic football, battling extremely hard against some very good teams. We are really proud of the way they played and conducted themselves throughout the afternoon.
