Year 6 News

This week, Year 6 have completed their non-chronological reports, based on the Ancient Olympics. They have used formal and technical vocabulary as well as paragraphs, to organise the information. In Maths, we have been really impressed with the children's work on long division and we have learnt about BODMAS, which affects the order we do calculations in. We have also started our new Science topic, which is all about light. In History, we found out about the different jobs that poor Victorian children would have done. We didn't have many volunteers to sweep chimneys!
