Year 6 News

This week we have practiced our dancing in PE where we began putting together a routine, we are excellent!

We had an afternoon working hard on our DT project - moving vehicles - creating the base for the vehicle cutting wood and joining the pieces to create a sturdy structure.

On Thursday we had an exciting science day where we moved around school in our houses learning about female computer scientists, creating boats testing hankies (and learning about snot!) and creating poster entries for the competition. We had an amazing time!

In English we have published our balanced arguments on whether or not the work of Alan Turing should have remained a secret or we should have used it to end World War 2 immediately.

The Countdown to Hagg Farm is on! We leave first thing Monday morning so for those of you attending, get packing! Children going on the trip must bring a packed lunch on Monday.

Have a good weekend
