Year 5 News

Year five started their week with a bang with our visit to the Tropical Butterfly House. Not only did we have a great time, we also learnt so much about a range of animals and plants. It was lovely to see so many parents and carers on parents evening on Tuesday and a joy to feedback your child's progress. We continued our learning of hockey with a match combining skills and learned how to describe our family in Spanish. Science was interesting this week as we learnt about lifecycles of mammals and how they are classified. 

In English, the children have loved writing a newspaper report about a stowaway tiger from a school trip causing carnage in the school and in Maths we tested our knowledge on statistics. Albany Adventure new week! We are all excited about our visit to Cadbury world on Tuesday.
