Year 5 News

We have had test week in school this week and all the children tried really hard.  Yesterday, we had Science day with the theme 'Curiosity'.  Every child in school took part in four different activities.  In Year 5, we looked at what makes boats float and they had to try and make the best float.  In Year 6, they researched famous female scientists, celebrating their achievements.  In Year 4, they investigated what makes the best hankie and in Year 3 they discussed what they thought was going to happen in the future.  It was so lovely to see all the children working together as a team and enjoy the day. 

 

Because  we have had test week, the spellings will carry over to next week and will be tested next Friday.  Have a lovely weekend.
