Year 5 News
This week has flown by and we can't believe it is the weekend already. Before you know it, it will be half term! In English, we had our first debate. Everyone listened well and contributed their thoughts confidently and clearly. After hearing all the evidence, it was concluded that the team advocating Harold Hardrada was the most persuasive and therefore who we chose to be our next King of England. In maths, we have moved on to long multiplication. This is always a really tricky method to pick up but everyone is trying hard and beginning to pick it up well. In science, we have continued learning about how plants reproduce, focusing on using insects as pollinators. In history, we have been learning about Motte and Bailey Castles.
