Year 5 News
Another great week in Year 5. This week, we have been busy researching a location in North America so that we can write our own travel guides. It has been lovely to learn about the Grand Canyon, Yosemite National Park and New York. In maths, we have continued focusing on place value. During our science lessons, we have looked at the planets in the solar system and how views about the solar system have changed over time.
Next week, we will be focusing on the 9 times table in class and the spellings can be found below.
Today, your child should come home with a sponsorship for our Great Athletes event which will be on the 3rd October. Please sponsor your child and ask any friends or relatives too. The more money we raise, the more money we will get for school to spend on new sport equipment.
