Year 4 News

 Year 4 have started working towards writing a bibliography on Edmund Hillary, the first man to reach the summit of Mount Everest with his Sherpa guide Tenzing Norgay, so far we have looked at the features of a bibliography and have done research on him to find out more about his life and achievements. In Independent Writing, we have tried to use fronted adverbials, the present perfect tense and non-finite clauses. In Topic, we have looked at the positive and negative effects of mountain tourism and in Science, we have looked at the results of last weeks experiment and observed that heat speeds up the process of evaporation.
