Year 4 News

This week in English we have been writing Haiku poetry related to our topic on Mountains, we have looked at syllables and descriptive vocabulary and have produced some lovely poems as a result. In Maths, we are looking at multiplication and division and have looked at factor pairs and multiplying and dividing by 10 and 100. In Topic, we have looked at mountain ranges in the UK and in Science we have started our new unit on States of Matter, looking at the properties of solids, liquids and gasses. Below, you will find the spellings to practise in time for our test next Friday and handwriting homework will be send out on Friday and is due in on the following Friday. Have a great weekend.
