Year 4 News

This week, Year 4 had an amazing start to the week with Egyptian day – we looked at a life-size replica mummy and canopic jars and looked into the process of mumification. We danced like an Egyptian, did some weaving and we also thoroughly enjoyed our Virtual Reality experience being taken back into Ancient Egypt. In Maths, we have been looking at rounding numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1,000. In English, we have done a little more work on our narrative unit by writing diary entries for our main character, looking at using expanded noun phrases and including feelings and emotions.
