Year 4 News

This week,  Year 4 s  have continued to be busy. In DT and Science,  we have been learning about circuits and what it needed to light a bulb, turn a motor or make a buzzer buzz. In English, we have been planning a newspaper report about the Viking attack on Lindesfarne and then travelled back over 1,000 years to meet a real Viking. Yarl Magnus welcomed us and invited us to his longhouse in the countryside. Here, he discussed Viking life, showed us artefacts including swords and shields. We also got to make shelters in the woods, working together in teams to ensure they were as water tight as possible!
