Year 3 News

Wow, what an end to a fabulous week. Children coped with the snowy day Friday perfectly so credit to them. We have been working hard in English using similes to describe the island in our Secrets of Black Rock class book. In maths the children have worked had on multiplication and achieved some really impressive end of unit scores. We have started netball and tag rugby in P.E and have jumped straight into our Romans unit of work learning about Rome’s founders Romulus and Remus. In science we have conducted our first experiment, looking at different forces. Next week looks a lot warmer so hopefully both P.E lessons will be outdoors. Have a great weekend everyone.
