We can't believe it is Friday already!  This week has flown by.  We have been writing our travel guides in English and continued our work on place value in maths.  In science, we have been learning about why we have day and night and the different weather and climate in North America.  With Mr Riley, we have been developing our football skills and using those skills in mini games.

We are looking forwards to welcoming Year 5 parents/carers on Wednesday to our maths workshop.  Please make sure you return the slip.

Welcome back to school for the new year. We have enjoyed getting to know each other over the last couple of days and have even made salt dough, creating Egyptian plaques with hieroglyphics. The Egyptians will be our topic this half term and we will be studying digestion and teeth in Science. PE days are Tuesday and Thursdays and children need to come in PE kit (plain white T shirt, plain black shorts or joggers and a plain black hoodie) on those days.
